How many inboxes per domain should I use for cold email?

I use 2 inboxes per sending domain. It keeps the volume on each domain low, so if one domain has a problem, only a small part of your sending is affected.

How many cold emails can I send per day from one inbox?

I cap each inbox at 30 cold emails a day, follow-ups included. A new inbox should be warmed up and build up to that number over a few weeks, not start there.

How many domains do I need for cold email?

Take your total daily emails (new emails plus follow-ups), divide by 30 to get inboxes, then divide by 2 to get domains. For example, 240 emails a day means 8 inboxes across 4 domains.

Is it better to add more inboxes to a domain or add more domains?

Add more domains. Putting more inboxes on one domain raises the total cold volume coming from that domain, which puts all of those inboxes at risk together.
